Pickleball at Dover Sportsplex is played on our Sport Court gym floor, which features built-in shock absorption to reduce players’ impact and fatigue. Since we’ve found that the system also absorbs a bit of rebound energy from most Pickleballs, we are now providing balls of standard weight, size, and hole design, but with slightly more bounce off the floor to give you a familiar, truer playing experience.
 
For folks open to a quieter playing experience, we also offer foam balls as an alternative to traditional hard plastic ones. Pickleball played with foam balls is still great exercise and great fun and the foam balls bounce very well.
 
Loaner paddles are also provided at no additional cost.
